The concept and approach of advertising, sales promotion and public relations can be applied strategically and effectively to promotional strategies. The approach will help the organization in achieving competitive advantage and grabbing the opportunities. The organization can succeed in achieving high sales growth and attract large number of consumers through proper promotional strategies. The promotional strategies help the company in building as a brand and gaining sales (Pride & Ferrell, 2008).

The advertising in promotional strategies helps the company in making the consumer aware about the product and services offered by the company. The effective advertising allows the company to promote the products to the consumer through making them aware with complete details and information of the product. With the help of advertising the company is able to maintain the presence in the market and retain the customers as well as attract new consumers.
