In addition, the (ART) has given parents the opportunity to conceive through fertilization methods and are examples of Biopschosocial interactions according to the text. They both relate to health disorder allowing them to seek medical assistance. Many families have different methods that suits there situation. Individuals have even gone lengths as far as conceiving for another; by the means of becoming a surrogate mother. “A surrogate mother is a women who becomes pregnant (usually by IUI or IVF) for the purpose of carrying the fetus to term for another women” (Fiore, 63).

In conclusion, nature deals more with inborn tendencies when nurture deals with the surrounding world. Nature and nurture are entwined together and both are part of the production of behavior. According to text, “Nature and Nurture are both involved in the production of behavior, and they cannot function in isolation from each other but must interact.”( Fiore, 16) . Being that nature deals more with the tendencies one is born with than Nature will have a bigger role in fertility. Nature is an in-born ability. An individual can be born with certain behaviors and later develop other behaviors. Fertility isn’t after birth it is the process towards conceiving and than delivering. According to the text, (ART) is example of types of fertilization processes. This brings us back to Nature and its role in fertility. Nature is inborn behavior before one has a chance to be influenced by there environment. “An infant’s staring, cooing, smiling, and kicking can all be used to maintain interactions.” (Fiore, 119). These actions are inborn tendencies, because a child isn’t taught to stare or smile according to the text these are early interactions by the child. “Early interactions establish the nature of the relationship between parent and child, giving a particular tone or style” (Fiore, 119).
