This case study will focus on discussing how the Wii became successful in the marketing field, through devising a SWOT analysis of the Wii’s development and launch. Nintendo DS succeeded the GBA (GBA) in 2004, and its Lite version was developed with improvements. Finally, the Nintendo Wii was released in late 2006, with exceptional features not already prominent, taking gaming into a new dimension where gamers have a much more involved experience.
