There are two ways of life representing two cultures. Bushmen lead a simple life with no sense of crime or law. All families live together and do not punish their children. They believe in God and apologize to the animals they kill for food. There are no shared symbols as good or bad since even a poisonous snake is not regarded as evil to them. They develop their own shared language. From the material culture, we can see that their nonmaterial culture is relaxed and they value the relationship with God and families. They respect life and are friendly to the nature since they only kill for necessity and speak to animals as an equal level of status. They do not have a sense of ownership to maintain the harmony among them. Modern society has difference culture. They follow the norms of society as they work in a regular pattern. People respond to each other with sanctions. Civilized people have shared symbols since everything in modern society has meaning like “Monday means working” and various road signs. It can imply that the society is highly structured and has social class. The relationship with other is loose. They do not adapt to the environment but change the environment to suit them by building infrastructure.

Since Bushmen do not have a sense of personal property, they lead a harmonious life. Once the bottle falls from sky, they perceive it as a gift from God. They do not know the actual use of the bottle. They use it as a music instrument, tool and toy. Soon, the bottle becomes a necessity among Bushmen and everyone wants to own it rather than sharing it. They start to be angry, jealous and punish the children. When a Bushman wants to return it to God, the bottle accidentally hit his daughter. So they view the bottle as an evil thing and are angry about the God. Bushmen decide to take it to the end of world to get rid of it. We can see that bottle breaks the harmony among Bushmen.
