1. Your current eating habits as documented in the 3 Day Diet Analysis CheckPoint – be sure to refer to each specific food group!
After completing the 3 day analyzes of my food intake I found out (well I pretty much knew) that I am not getting all the recommended percentages for each food group. I am actually under the recommended intake of 4 out of the five food category groups. The 4 food categories I am under are milk, grains, fruits, and vegetables. Meat and beans is the only food category that I met the required recommendation. I actually was well over the recommendation for the meats and beans food group.
The milk food group I was getting closer toward the last day because of eating cheese. I do not drink milk at all because it upsets my stomach. However I usually have some when I have a bowl of cereal but for some reason just was not in the mood for cereal.
The grains food group I also was getting a little closer to the recommended daily requirements. I had a few slices of bread with peanut butter sandwiches and bratwurst. I also had brown rice.
The vegetable food group did not come close at all to the recommended daily requirements. I pretty much just had a vegetable at dinner time each day such as corn, or green beans, but what I mostly eat and like is fresh tomatoes.
The fruit food group is another group I did not come close to the recommended daily requirements. I love fruit but we really did not have any in the house to eat but one day. I had fresh cut pineapple and cantaloupe.
The meat and beans food group I was pretty much over every day. I had grilled chicken 2 of the three days. The other day I had bratwurst. I also at for a snack some Vienna sausages but I am not too sure if that is really meat.
2. List any particularly nutrient-rich foods and nutrient-lacking foods you currently consume.
Here is a list of foods that I currently consumed over the past 3 days separated into two groups, nutrient-rich and nutrient-lacking.
