There are so many types of organizations in this world and each one is different from the other. Every organization has a unique culture and although some similar, none are the same. Organizational culture is define as a shared attitudes, beliefs, customs, and implied contracts; a system of unwritten and written rules that any particular organization develops over time and also that work well enough to be considered valid. Organizational culture is also associated with corporate culture. Corporate culture is about the how the company treats their stakeholders and stakeholders are anybody invested into the company like, customers, suppliers, and of course the employees. In this essay we are going to discuss the organizational culture, behavior, diversity, and communication of Wal-Mart.

We said organizational culture basically is about how the employees interact within themselves, and how the organization treats their employees and people whom deal first hand with the country. Wal-Mart’s values are a line with the values of Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart. Sam believed customers are most the important aspect of the company because they help us to make money while we offer to help save them money. Mr. Walton focused a lot on the building of relationships with suppliers, employees, and customers. He also developed a three basic belief and value principles that are still in use today. First, is to remember the customer is the boss. Second, is getting it done by sundown. Finally, is to greet all customers within 10 feet of you.

Wal-Mart’s employees do not work for someone they help out. The Wal-Mart message to them is that the people who work hard and take part in the company’s profit sharing program become rich and happy. Languages, metaphors, ceremonies, legends, are all aspects of what behavior are. The...
