This simulation is based upon the company Synergetic Solutions, Inc. This is a $6 million dollar company that employs approximately 300 individuals, who has basic troubleshooting and assembly computer skills. Synergetic Solutions, Inc. is in business of system integration. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Harold Redd has made an important strategic decision. He has decided to focus on the networking solutions business and raise the revenue 80% of total sales, which is $12 million by the end of the next nine months. My job as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is to transform this company and reach the revenue needed to continue its number one status in the computer technology world.

In determining how to reach this goal, I, as the COO, must evaluate factors that can make this business/ company integrate into a larger society or organization. I will start off by listing the three internal and external forces of changes for Synergetic Solution, Inc. The three internal forces are: Technology which is: “the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment, drawing upon such subjects as industrial arts, engineering, applied science, and pure science.” (www.dictionary.com). In order for Synergetic to increase their revenue, they must evaluate their employees and determine what skills are needed in order to reach the companies goal. Face it, the company will never prosper without initiating educational training to promote their employees into a status of skilled professionals. The next internal force is the nature of workforce.
