The company1-800-Flowers, Inc. is a flower company that has been supplying customers with beautiful fresh flowers for more than 30 years. The company is privately owned and has 150 franchises and company owned retail stores all over the world with over 2,000 domestic affiliates, 1,300 affiliates that are overseas and a website accessible to customers to place orders anytime of the day (Answers.com, 2011). America Online is one of the company’s partners for interactive services online (Answers.com, 2011). The Company offers other items such as gift baskets, plants, gourmet foods, stuffed animals and confections. The company has expanded and focuses on diversifying with new brands for decor for the home, gifts for children and special treats that will suit the needs of individuals. Since 1-800-Flowers expanded their business and incorporating more gifts for customers, the company has continued to grow. The company made a significant turn- around in 2007
