Özet ya am nda ayr mc k turizm sektöründe görülen en önemli konulardan birisidir. Bu çal man n amac , bireylerin demografik özelliklerinin i ya am nda ayr mc k faktörü üzerindeki etkisini ara rmakt r. Öncelikle konuyla ilgili bir literatür taramas yap lm r. Buradan elde edilen bilgilerle bir anket geli tirilmi tir. Anket uygulanmadan önce ilk a amada turizm sektöründe verilen i ilanlar incelenmi ard ndan baz i letmelerin i ba vuru formlar na yönelik bir içerik analizi yap lm r. Son a amada yüzyüze görü me yöntemiyle toplam 209 kat mc ya bir anket uygulanm r. Elde edilen veriler PASW istatistik program ile analiz edilerek aç klay faktör analizi ile verilerin yap sal ve yak nsak geçerlili i yap lm r. Sonraki a amada faktör gruplar n ba ml de ken üzerindeki etkisinin ölçülmesi amac yla regresyon analizi yap lm r. Sonuçta ba ms z de kenlerin ba ml de keni etkiledi i ortaya konulmu tur. Discrimination in the working life: A sample of tourism sector

Abstract Discrimination in the working life is one of the most important issues in the tourism sector. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of demographics factors on discrimination in the working life. First, a literature review was conducted and questionnaire was developed from the studies in the literature. In the first stage, before gathering the data from survey, job advertisements in tourism sector were analyzed and, in the second stage, content analysis was conducted on job application forms. In the third stage, data were collected by researchers in face-to-face interviews with 209 employees and were analyzed with PASW statistical programs.
