Week 6 Checkpoint

The sexual process goes through four main cycles which can be divided between the plateau, excitement, orgasm, and resolution phase. Each phase is different from the others and both men and women go though these cycles but in different aspects of it. The part about the sexual phase is that everyone does not know how there sexual partner might react to different phase of the cycle because everyone does not react the same. A lot of times there are stages that both sexes go through that deal with masturbation and intercourse and neither partner may have their orgasm at the same moment. In this process this is how many men and women get to know about each other and can notice if there seems to be any problem with their partner that may cause problems in their sexual relationships.

The cycle of the sexual process is usually the excitement stage. In this stage the men’s private parts take on a different turn. The penis may become around and this called and erection in men and the scrotum usually becomes usually becomes kind of hard or tightens in men and also the testicles may lift up and they were rising. In women during this stage the nipples becomes hard and also the clitoris become swollen because of the blood that is flowing to the private parts of the body and this also includes the men’s penis. The heart rate in both the men and women increases and the breathing becomes much more intense and noticeable. During this stage both sexes will start to notice fluids form the men’s penis being secreted and the women’s vaginal area becoming a lot more moist.

The second phase of the cycle is the plateau in which what happens in the excitement cycle become much intense in the stage. During this stage a lot of time there may be a tightening of muscles in certain areas of the body such as the hand, face, and the feet. A notice in the rise of the blood pressure may occur along with the continuing increase in the heart rate and also the breathing continues to increase....
