Eat Pray Love is a film that proves that just because you have a "dream life" does not mean that you are truly happy. This film is about nourishment by eating in Italy, the power of prayer in India, and the inner peace and balance of true love in Bali. The main character in this film was Liz Gilbert played by Julia Roberts. Liz was a woman who had everything a modern woman dreamed of having. She had a husband, a house, and a successful career. Although, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she actually wanted in life.

Shortly after Liz Gilbert and her husband got a divorce, Liz steps out of her comfort zone. By stepping out of her comfort zone, Liz is risking almost everything to change her life. Trying to discover herself, Liz goes on a journey around the world. She travels to Italy, India, and Bali. In Italy, Liz meets people who helped her discover the true nourishment of eating. That was only the beginning of her journey though. After Italy, Liz travels to India, where she found the power of prayer. Liz not only found the power of prayer, but she met people who helped her open her eyes to new things. The last place Liz travels to was Bali. While in Bali, Liz meets an old man who helps her discover things that she has had to deal with. Like the divorce between her husband and herself. She also meets a mother and daughter. This mother and daughter helped show Liz that just because things have not been perfect, does not mean you should stop believing. After all these people did for Liz, all she wanted for her birthday from her friends back home, was to get enough money together to get this mother and daughter a home they deserved. The last person Liz met was a man that took her breath away. This man put the last of her missing pieces together, so she could find herself. Eat Pray Love is a film that helps you realize that if you are not truly happy, you need to step out of your comfort zone.
