EBay has succeeded in its mission statement since its early days of trading that began seventeen years ago in 1995 by the original creator Pierre Morad Omidyar. The task was to provide a place where people could trade anything they wanted. EBay has succeeded at that mission and much more. E-Bay is now a world-wide name. EBay is one of the most popular websites on the internet and one of the most successful among hundreds of online auction sites. EBay is not only an online auction but a shopping website which allows individuals and businesses to buy and sell goods and services all around the world.

EBay is a site where people do not have to pay high prices for items that can be brought in a retail store but purchased at a lesser price on its website. Sellers do not have to go from beauty and barber shops searching for buyers to buy the items; all they have to do is pay a fee and list their items on eBay’s auction website and wait for the bidding to begin.

PayPal:

PayPal is the world’s most largest and popular service for online purchasing. PayPal act as the middleman for transferring money online. PayPal has become a convenient and trusted site, 95% of eBay’s purchases goes through this service. PayPal works as a financial transaction broker; it lets customers send money to each other without allowing any of the parties to see each others bank or credit card information. PayPal is a trust worthy service that has multiple guarantees in place; PayPal keeps the buyers and sellers credit card and bank information private and hidden away from fraudulent criminals.

As the broker, PayPal is the holder of the money, all transaction are secured, invisible and protected up to $1,000. PayPal requirements are simple; all a person need is a valid email address and a valid credit card or bank account.
