Executive Summary
CanGo is an organization that provides customers with an online shopping location for books, video, and music. The organization is looking to improve customers experience and expand its current product offerings, to include entering the online gaming industry. The organization is in a strong position because of the markets they are in, and that they are planning to expand into, have all shown growth in the past decade and are projected to continue growing in the future. A current SWOT, market analysis, competitive analysis, financial analysis, and set of strategic goals will all be keys to being prepared and ensuring the future success of the organization. These documents will allow CanGo to stay focused on its goals, maintain an understanding of their environment, and manage limited resources in a way that provides the greatest benefit to the organization.
Introduction
CanGo has been successful in the online retail industry to this point. However, that success has been based more on luck and being in the right place at the right time then on overall management. The organization has failed to this point to properly manage the strategic operations and limited resources of the organization. If this style of leadership continues, CanGo will not be able to remain competitive and grow within the online industry. There are several keys to the success of CanGo.
