Mutual fund management is fund Management Company who takes money from their clients and makes investments from this money by investing it in investments which show prospects of growing after thorough analysis. For this they charge their clients nominal fee. Mutual funds have become really popular among people who are willing to make more money. The people of retire age are investing with them to save more money for their retired lives, people looking to increase their wealth by making quick money in stock market but utilizing the services of mutual funds due to lack of trading experience or business men who are looking forward to make more money (Mobius, 2007).

These companies invest in stocks, bonds, money market instruments and are efficient means of making quick wealth for those people who either have no trading experience or want to take little risk with their money. It is safer to invest with these companies because they have a team of researchers who analyze the opportunities where there is potential for profit. In the USA the researchers in these companies are Certified Financial Analysts or top graduates from business schools who learn to manage security risk and evaluation (Mobius, 2007).

The research of these companies includes analyzing financial statements, talking personally to company management where they are interested in investing, analyzing market situations, and company and competitors strategies, talking with other stakeholders and reviewing industry trends where they are interested in investing. Therefore many people prefer investing with these companies rather than taking the risks themselves (Mobius, 2007).
