INNOVATION AS MARKETING

Innovation as marketing have a broder meaning. It means how we can use innovations as marketing like wise in other words we can say that how marketing can be done effectively with innovations or how innovations make the market for both existing as well as new products.

First consept of marketing is rely on producers or product means what ever the product produce by the producer is hit the market later on the concept chnges to customer oriented means producer are concern about the needs and demand of customer and then society oriented concept arrived in which producers are gave emphasis more on wellfare of socity and the latest concept of marketing is green marketing in which producer companies are focusing on the atmosphere. Thus we can see that as time changes the concept of marketing has changed all these are innovations so that companies can sell their product more and more because at the end of the day everyone wants profit.

I have devided innovation as marketing in to two aspects:-

1:- For new product

2:- For existing product

FOR NEW PRODUCT

There are many similar type of product available in the market so if any company want to launch its product then how it can market it’s product so that people can turn to it. Companies are using many ways of innovative marketing and advertising to sell it’s product.

EAMPLE

when pepsico launched his new product “MOUNTAIN DEW” in the market, they advertise it as a drink for those people who love adventures in life with a tag line “DAR KE AAGE JEET HE” with this line they support their product as well as they gave a message that “NEVER QUIT”. Its an innovative idea for the drink and it affect the customer also.

FOR EXISTING PRODUCT

For an existing product it is tuff to innovate new ideas because companies needs to repositing of the product before making any changes but it is a necessar part of every product due to product life cycle. Thus companies needs to relocate the product through new...
