Dear Grandma,

I want to thank you for the best graduation gift ever; I want to update you on what’s going on in my life. I really like the extraordinary trip to Hawaii you sent me. It helped me clear my mind and think about what I want to do for my future. I got to experience the cultures and backgrounds of where I went. I went shopping and bought many gifts for you and the family too; it was great.

The past few months have really been busy for me. To start with, College has made my deadlines to see the family very rough and I promise to see you guys on the holidays. Also, I’m getting good grades in every class I have. My job wants me to work more and more since I do better than most of my employee’s I work with. More importantly, I got promoted to head manager and a raise. I’m still saving money up to buy a brand new car, because the one I have now has problems and is no need of fixing it. In result to, I’m going to save all my money up to buy a new one.

I want to thank you so much for the graduation present; it meant a lot to me. I plan to see you and the rest of the family soon for the holidays, so until then I love you and I’ll see you shortly.
