Mayakkam Enna

Mayakkam Enna is an anticipated forthcoming Dhanush Tamil Movie Directed by Selvaraghavan, produced by Gemini Film Circuit, Starring Dhanush and Richa Gangopadhyay in lead roles.

Director Selva raghavan films have the reputation of being very unique in respect of its content and style of making, and when his brother actor Dhanush joins him then it becomes a powerful package of stunningly performed and wonderfully made creative work!

Selvaraghavan started ‘Irandam Ulagam’ with Dhanush and Andrea Jeremiah, and the project ran into rough weather when Andrea pulled herself out from the film due to some personal differences with the director. Selva shelved the project and started a new one with Dhanush doing the hero again and Richa Gangopadhyay, who he had decided to cast in his next, as heroine.

The project was later titled ‘Mayakkam Enna’ and fast wrapped up now and getting ready for release.

Selvaraghavan collaborates with G V Prakash once again, after Aayirathil Oruvan. More interesting fact is that Dhanush and Selvaraghavan have composed all the lyrics.

Originally,Yuvan Shankar Raja was the music composer but was replaced by G. V. Prakash with the latter reporting it was due to "money and time issues"

It looks like G V Prakash has tried very hard to walk away from his comfort zone and provide the kind of edgy numbers Selvaraghavan demands, and has risen to the challenge. Go for it.

The songs by now has reached a cult status among the youth due to its lyrics that they can recount too.

The cinematography is handled by Ramji. Kola Bhaskar has seen the editing.

Mayakkam Enna is based on the story of Photographer.

Dhanush plays a happy-go-lucky guy in the film that is touted to be a feel-good romantic outing made exclusively for the younger generation.

It is said that Mayakkam Enna Movie is basically

not a romantic story but has glimpses love sequences in it.
