I am an Integrated Supply Chain Management major at Western Michigan University with a minor in Business Management. I am writing in response to your Supply Chain Manager Job posting at brewingwork.com. Looking at your posting, I believe that I have many qualifications that will benefit your company and I would like to express interest in the position. As a brewer myself, I admire the product and the scale of operations of Samuel Adams and Boston Beer Company. In the craft beer industry Samuel Adams has become a staple with so many awards under the belt, I would be excited to join the team and strive to help better the company.

I have a good background in sales forecasting and inventory management, both from school and my current job at ABC Warehouse. I like having challenging problems handed to me, where an answer is needed and the means of achieving the outcome is not known for certain. Examples of my previous experience are not only from my classes in school, but a project of a feasibility report for a new small business. In the process of putting together the report the goals were known, but in the learning process of creating the feasibility study I was responsible for figuring out everything from putting a parts list together, to financial reports and sales forecasting. I consider my problem solving experience a major asset and a great ability to help find solutions to problems and tasks. An ability to work in teams and lead others is another quality that I can attribute to my success as a student and an employee. Playing hockey and working with teams in previous jobs have helped to be a strong leader and good listener in discussions.

I am confident that both my education and previous work experience, along with my problem solving abilities and an eye for detail would be a benefit to Samuel Adams and the Boston Beer Company. My...
