Danny Meyers is an inspiring man to read about. His level of commitment and his enthusiasm makes him a role model to all types of businesses. He understands hard work and perfection, but he also understands bumps in the road will happen. All these bumps are learning experiences that lead to bigger success down the road. No matter the level of success he still seems to remain grounded and remembers the fundamentals that he started with. He has proven himself again and again as a successful businessman but he still has not lost sight of who he is and more importantly who people are. His philosophy dealing with customer service and people is one that can be applied to business and personal life. Following this philosophy is a useful guide in all businesses.

In a word that has become so demanding of people it seems harder and harder to maintain quality, but it is essential to do so in order to gain success. Customer Service seems to be lacking over the last 5 years. There seems to be less and less of a standard. Why is this??? It appears that humans do not take pride in their jobs and are without that social interaction ability that makes the difference in customer service. This needs to change for the future.

Danny Meyers has proven that no matter what type of establishment it is, the best customer service should be delivered. It could be a 4 star fine dining restaurant or a hot dog stand. In the end the result should be the same………….a happy returning customer that received excellent service. To provide this service the right people should be hired and trained properly. It seems that most companies have people behind the counter who are uninformed of what is going out and deliver this with a bad attitude. This just makes the company look bad and ruins their reputation. As a leader you need to set the example everyday.
