Kudler Fine Foods desires to start up a frequent shopper program. A service request was submitted by the manager to develop a system to track customer purchases. The customer’s purchases will be tracked through the frequent shopper program and reward customer loyalty points for redemption. The redemption of loyalty points can be used towards specified gifts items, specialty foods, and other products or services through partnerships with external businesses according to the dollar amount spent.

Business objectives with supporting measures of success for the project

Kudler Fine Foods business objective is to start a frequent shopper program to help track customer spending habits. This will allow Kudler Fine Foods to redirect the business focus using a strategic method to help create an increase in the bottom-line revenue. Kudler Fine Foods wants to maintain their business image as a high end food quality distributor and do not want to resort to discounting the customer’s purchase to gain business. Initiating a frequent shopper program will direct Kudler Fine Foods in the right direction to better understand the market trends.

The first step to understand Kudler Fine Foods current business processes is to setup a project team.
