Introduction
This is a case analysis of the Lafarge Group, a final project within the course of Strategic Management conducted during October 2010 in UACS.
The analysis is made upon several key points: Strategic diagnosis, Strategy evaluation and implementation, Management overview and further development recommendations and proposals.
Company background
World leader in building materials, Lafarge extracts resources from the heart of the earth to make materials and serve the construction and building industry worldwide. It is present in 78 countries responding to the world’s demand for housing and infrastructure. The Group creates high value-added solutions which encourage creativity whilst leaving a lighter trace on the world.
