Executives at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company in Fort Worth,Texas,are entering a new world of team dynamics.To build a new family of supersonic stealth fighter planes for the Defense Department,the defense contractor is relying on technology to encourage collaboration among up to 40,000 technical experts from more than 80 suppliers at 187 locations.This initiative is creating probably the largest and most sophisticated collectivity of virtual teams on the planet."We're getting the best people ,applying te best designs,from wherever we need them",says Mark Peden,vice president for information systems at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics."It's true virtual connection".
