Title of the project: “Higher the cost, better the quality” myth or reality- A study

Research design- Based on the qualitative nature of the study we intend to use Exploratory research design technique for the study.

Methodology- The study is essentially on a qualitative subject and would require an exploratory approach to help formulate a well defined problem using the literature available. Focus groups and depth interviews of the experts of the field would be conducted which would form the evidence for the results of this study.

Expected outcome- The study will benefit the consumer at large who believe/disbelieve in this myth either by substantiating the theme or busting the myth. Price formulators at various levels in the organizations may also find this study useful.
