If you are asked to create a financial plan for your health care organization, what are the main components you will address in your plan? Why?

A health care business plan is necessary when looking for larger funding to expand a health care business, and perhaps to acquire equity investment.

Many plans address what the target audience wants. A finical plan should inculde all of the relevant core details, be a tool to manage your business, and a marketing document that sells your business idea and strengths.

The main components I would address in a health care business plan would be:

Executive summary, this is where the plan exapalins whay a product or service is so good, why it is unique or better than the next best thing. Introduce key palyers of the bussiness and what experince and specailites they have. Graphically show the project figuers along with profit and loss. It is also good to show a second graph that shows the ‘what if’ scenario.

Aims and objectives: Let the reader know what makes you tick, why you are wanting to do this and what you want from it, not just financial. That helps build the confidence in your drive and resilience, but also shows how much you’ve thought about things. The action points in your plan should also drive you down the route towards achieving these aims.

Business description: This expalins what the bussine s will be doing and what makes the business different, and the plan to differentiate your bussiness from aanother bussiness. Explain any regulations and licenses that are requried for the bussines.

Managing your business: Exoalin your management strutuer covering finance and accounts, marketing, sales, HR, administration, health and safety etc.

Customers and the market: Describe your target market, how you are going to reach them. Inculded also SWOT analysis of your competion and their products or services.

Marketing plan: Descrides your marketing stragitrey to gain access to potentional...
