Bilingual Education Politics: Supporting, Opposing, and Presenting Bilingual Education is a Human and Civil Rights Summarizing the article denies child to learn in their own language. President Bush took the side against bilingual education, he used federal legislation to weaken bilingual education in those states that has not yet conquered. The current attack on bilingual education denies children a basic human and civil right- the right to learn in their native language. Not only is the right to learn in ones native language a human right, it is a civil right as well. A human and civil right is about what freedom of America is all about but when being denied out rights, we wonder to ourselves what is more to look forward too. Us as parents we want the best for our children, even if it have to do with fighting until we break down. Citizen of America look up to whom we elected as President, to whom we picked to make a different and a change for the better for our people, not to look up to our President and see no help but a change of different for the worst. To learn in one native tongue and to learn another make a profit to our country to see other country that know more than on language could be for the better of America to learn several language not just for ourselves to look great on resume but for the better future.
