It is hard at times for individuals to use ethics and morals at their employment. However in today’s world how you conduct yourself has a lot to do on your own ethics, morals, and what you believe is the right choice for the situation being presented. This paper will discuss the differences between personal, business, ethics and morals. In addition, how it is important to know the difference between them all to conduct yourself in the work environment.

The difference between moral and ethical issues would be that morality describes beliefs of right, wrong, good, and bad. To some extent, they vary depending on aspects of the individuality, family, and circle of friends. As well as other individual influences such as teachers, priests, neighbors, and so on. Aspects of the community and or sub-culture one town versus another or different religions in the same area or religious sects like Methodists as opposed to Baptists, and aspects of the general society like South African, Islamic, and so forth. Today there is more often than not a large amount of overlap. Morals are the general sense of right and wrong. Ethics are better-defined sets of ideas. Depending on the specific type of ethics involved, there may be actually defined sets such as legal ethics or medical ethics. Even then, there are grey areas but not as grey or loosely defined as morals. Ethics can describe philosophies or absolute rules of conduct.

The differences between business and personal ethics are that in professional ethics you are compliant with the company's policies and procedures. You also do not intend to pose harm to the company, its share, stakeholders, or employees. As well, respect authority and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by your Manager or Supervisor. In personal ethics, you are compliant with the laws that govern your state or country. You are not a menace to society and have moral, manners, and want to do good for others without wanting something in return. In...
