Re: Report analysing the Water Damaged Terry 300 BHS Trailer
This report has answered the following questions that you gave me on September 28, 2010.
• Analyse the construction of the trailer
• Recommend new flooring material(oriented strand board or Plywood)
• Estimate the cost of repair
• Estimate the trade-in value of the trailer
• Estimate the resale price of the trailer
• Determine whether to repair or sell the trailer
The main goal of this report was to determine whether to repair the trailer or to sell it. This report has the recommendations at the end of the body because there is a lot of information that needs to be read before the recommendations can be understood fully.
The trade-in value of the trailer could not be found because all of the sales people I dealt with said they would need to inspect the trailer because of the water damage. Considering I do not own a truck, the trailer is not mine, and the trailer is not insured I was unable to bring the trailer to any sales person. Although there is no trade-in value I was still able to determine whether or not to repair the trailer based on mainly the cost of the repair and the estimated resale value. I know we already discussed the trade-in value issue I thought I should again explain what happened.
Thank...
