Choosing the right person for employment within most organization is the beginning of success for any company who wants to keep a competitive edge. People the core that makes a company successful. Therefore, since the competitive edge to a business success is it’s choices of the people that the management in chare hires. Trying to fill these positions with the right person, management must first layout the specification for the job and match it to the right candidate (Stewart & Brown, 2009).

Outback Steakhouse has an interview process for hourly and salaried employees that will help hire and retain people to successfully run their business. This process helps keeps employers achieve a competitive edge because it allows Outback Steakhouse to recruit the potential employees, look at their experience extensively, then select the most competent employees who are able to change the vision Outback Steakhouse. Outback Steakhouse employs people who appreciate the value of collaboration, courtesy, and single liability.
