Project Description | To meet increased competition by developing a long range strategic plan to meet increased competition that will enable the company to succeed like that of the past. Increasing presence in new markets and increasing sales while maintain leadership in regional territory. |

Project Product | Seitz Container Corporation manufactures small to medium size plastic bottles and containers. The idea of constructing a new plant in Huntsville, AL will enable Seitz Container Corporation to increase their sales in the Alabama region and move from third in the market share to second. To obtain this position, Seitz will reduce their dependence on equipment suppliers; this will reduce costs in an effort to increase their market sector. |

Project Deliverables | As a direct result of increase production efficiency and aggressive marketing campaigns, Seitz is now ready to move into the regional market and plans for construction of their new plant in Huntsville, AL was approved. The $2,750,000 million they are spending on a new plant has a target break ground date of 17 April 201. The plant has to be ready by the end of June 2012; the desired started date for the project is slated for 30 June 2012. |

Project Objectives | To double the total sales within the next decade and to develop and market new products based on the company’s plastics experience. To reduce the dependency on equipment suppliers and try to reach first or second in regional market shares. Attain a national presence in the container industry and at t he same time increase productivity. |
