What are the three dimensions to business problems? Provide examples of each.

According to the textbook; organization, people, and technology are the three dimensions to business problems. An organization is how a corporation functions to accomplish the objectives that it sets. It does this by using the culture and business procedures to conclude business as resourcefully as feasible, and this is possible when the strengths and weaknesses are found, and steps are taken. Within an organization, skilled people need to be trained or hired to work the particular jobs which are needed to accomplish the objective of the business. The last dimension to business problems is technology, which needs to be operated for the recording and decoding of data that the organization will collect. For the technology to be free of problems it has to be updated and people who are qualified need to run it. If a business does not have qualified individuals than the new equipment that the business just invested in will not be utilized accurately or efficiently as expected.

What is the difference between IT and information systems? Describe some functions of information systems.
