Guidelines
Read the following instructions carefully before attempting this coursework:
1. This coursework must be submitted to A13 (the Undergraduate Office) of the Management School by Monday 30th January 2011 before 12.30pm. Coursework must be submitted in person – DO NOT push it under the door when the office is closed.
2. Coursework will NOT be accepted unless each student signs and returns a declaration form (available from the Web Board) that includes a statement indicating that they have read and understood the University regulations relating to plagiarism. Plagiarism includes the following:
* Collusion, where a piece of work prepared by a group is represented as if it were the student's own;
* The purchase of a paper from a commercial service, including Internet sites, whether pre-written or specially prepared for the student concerned;
* The submission of a paper written by another person, either by a fellow student or a person who is not a member of the university;
* The submission of another student's work, whether with or without that student's knowledge or consent.
Incidents of plagiarism are recorded on a student’s file. Penalties are in line with the institutional framework of the University.
3. In accordance with University regulations, marks (see course outline for details) will be deducted from any coursework which is NOT submitted to the Undergraduate Office by the deadline. This penalty will apply for 3 days after the deadline and then a mark of zero will be given to any work not submitted. However, if an extension is given then the rule applies from the date of the extension.
4. You must answer both questions in full. Question 1 is worth 50% and Question 2 is worth 50% of the total mark.
