Lamborghini

When people think of the word “Lamborghini”, most people start to daydream about the beautiful and elegant, high-end automobiles such as the Murciélago. People have a desire and wish to picture themselves to be able to attain one of these cars in their lifetime. They want to experience the beautiful yet monstrous distinctive sound of that v12 engine as you press the gas pedal. However most people do not know the whole story behind these magnificent vehicles. It, in fact, all started with automotive repairs in World War II, and the production of tractors.

Ferruccio Lamborghini was born in Italy in a town called Renazzo in 1916. As a child he always had a fascination with automobiles and engines. Ferruccio Lamborghini joined the army during World War II and spent most of his time repairing automobiles or motorcycles and grew up being a business engineer. After World War II, Ferruccio had started up a tractor production company. Eventually, in 1950 Ferruccio began producing his own tractors, designed by him and his engineers, and by the mid-1950s Lamborghini was a multi-millionaire. The company was called Lamborghini Trattori. He started out small and the demand for his high quality tractors soon rose to great heights. While maintaining his tractor business he also started, which also became a very successful, manufacturing company for heaters and air conditioning. The company was called Bruciatori Spa. With both companies, he wanted to use that money to expand his success and attempted to fulfill his dream of manufacturing helicopters. Sadly, his dream was crushed by the government’s denial to approve the expansion of the project.

Ferruccio Lamborghini had started to gain an interest in high performance automobiles, some of which included Maserati and Ferrari.
