Conservation genetics in a globally changing environment: present problems, paradoxes and future challenges - Analysis

Introduction

This article discusses about the lack prevailing in the field of conservation biology and its allied disciplines even though an emerging impact is observed in the field of conservation genetics. The reason that has been posed on these lacks on the knowledge to address several key issues pertaining to conservation genetics. Effort has been taken in order to spot issues related to conservation genetics keeping in view addressing various paradoxes that would aid as well decide and prepare conservation genetics to tolerate new disputes that emerge during population genetics to population genomics era transient phase. The article also pinpoints the recording of urgent need on certain consequences and adaptations that includes gaining knowledge on inbreeding and outbreeding depression prevailing in the wild inhabitants. Apart from this the article also focuses on adaptive capability of local environmental conditions established among small population of people. The contemplation related to applied aspects of conservation genetics can thus be improved by integrating the knowledge on experimental, theoretical and applied conservation genetics. Thus I strongly believe and support the notion that integration of conservational genetics concepts will tend one to gain better insight as well will assist one to work on the future progression that aims at working on restoration and rescue strategy projects.

A great emphasis was laid on the field of conservation biology and ecology in the last two decades that has led one to gain better understanding on conservation genetics.
