If I were the jury I would have given her and her sisters a fair trial. Let all the people the people accused her And her siblings be questioned in different rooms to see if they all have the same story. I think they didn't try hard enough to get evidence only listen to witnesses and to go by their words. They also didn't give a reasonable amount of time inbetween of her getting put in jail to the time she was hanged. I myself couldn't see anyone die so the most I would have done was listen to Easty's petition and not shed blood and just sentence them life in prison if I found that they were guilty. It would have taken a lot of evidence to prove there was such things as witches to me. I'm not really a believer til I see myself and judge. I guess back then it would be easier to believe than now a days. The jury were probably huge believers and where the people that were accusers. There are always at least 2 sides of a story and it would be best to put yourself in each situation and be on all sides til you get good evidence or a word, face to face, confession. All of the people that were killed because of the trials should has gotten a fair trial. If they were witches they could have got out of the jail or the trouble they were accused of by witchcraft. I am not sure if they have the rules where all the jury had to agree to find them guilty back then or not but if I didn't think it was right I would have the only person to say they are not guilty over and over. Knowing that town from what I have read, they would also have me put in jail and on trial as being a witch and have me killed also. At least I would have died knowing I did all I did with the power I had to do right and who knows it could have went to other way and they could have been set free and the Salem trials could have ended long before they did written in the books. It definitely would be harder to prove that case now in our century. Some cases are hard to how they ended the way they did either guilty...
