“My new hire is the most important person at this moment.” (Truesdell, 1988).

The Human Resources Department at this company feels the need to impress upon you if you are hired the possibility of certain situations that may arise within your new department. Having stated this we feel it necessary to ask these questions of you to evaluate your responses to certain scenarios that may arise.

1. How do you keep your personal life and your work separate and organized?

2. How comfortable are you being placed in charge of a number of other employees?

3. How comfortable are you dealing with other employee problems?

4. How comfortable are you dealing with the customers problems?

5. How would you deal with a challenging situation that might arise between a customer and an employee?

6. Are you comfortable with communicating with others?

7. How strong do you feel about customer service excellence?

8. Can you manage job related stress, both yours and other employees?

9. Please give a real world situation where you have provided a real working solution for the problem you encountered.

If you are our selection for hiring, you will then be receiving an orientation checklist.

We are looking for a person with good communication skills, someone who is able to mediate in certain situations, someone who can keep their team of employees motivated, and someone who can keep the company’s best interests at heart. Good luck.
