Article Rebuttal
The article that I read was, New wave of abortion laws limits women’s right to choose” which was located in the USA Today on March 22, 2011. This article discusses the abortion-rights opponents in South Dakota which they wanted to have abortion prohibited.
I believe that the article that I found to be reliable, creditable, and valid because I used to University of Phoenix Library to find this article. I have never come across an article on the library site that was not reliable. The author also used statistics from the results of the state voters. For the author to use information that involves statistics or state laws make for a good argument.
There are many areas in which I believe with the author. A few examples would be one for a women to have consultation with a professional doctor has its plus side. This could a woman very clear on her decision making process. I also think that if a women choose to have an abortion is should also be paid fully by themselves.
I am one that in certain circumstances believes that women should have a right to abortion for an example if a woman was raped by a stranger or family member or if the pregnancy would harm the women’s health. There are many situations where a woman has to make this kind of decision and most women do think about what they are doing when it comes to their own bodies.
There are many other reasons why I do not believe that a woman should be allowed to have an abortion. This could be due to age, religion, and they chose to have sex in the first place. If a woman is under the age of 18 I believe that the parents should be involved. Also each person has certain religious backgrounds that they might not be allowed to have abortions. I also think that if a woman chooses to voluntarily have sex on their own then they should have the responsibility to have that child.
I did not locate any logical fallacies...
