In this paper is the discussion of how a meeting would be held at a nursing facility to through the strategic planning process, who is involved, and what steps they will take, along with explaining this process to them so that they completely understand and will be able to discuss other problems. |

To go through the strategic planning process with all of the nursing home employees, I will correlate and talk about how we will proceed together through the steps of this process. To completely meet patient and the nursing facility’s needs, the leaders in the facility and nursing must be both Idealistic and functional to efficiently move care forward. The procedure of inducing vision to a functional actuality needs a strategic plan that depicts the plan’s pointed goals in the end for the next five years (Nursing Management, 2009).

The first job in the advancement procedure is to acknowledge the nursing facilities mission statement (why we have it) and the vision statement (what it intends to be). If both of these seem to be obsolete and need to be revised; the nursing staff and other leaders should have an opinion. The main nursing executives should come up with about three vision statements, which they gave to their individual nursing home leaders and participated authoritative directions and integrated responses (Nursing Management, 2009).

Good preparation and follow-ups can enhance opportunities that this meeting becomes successful and that everyone involved will be inclined to come back after twelve to twenty-four months. This strategic planning meeting makes both the upper and middle management to methodically reflect on and discuss the strategic problems for the first time.
