Industrial Revolution

The industrial revolution was an important breakthrough that started in around 1800s.This revolution brought about changes in various fields such as transport agriculture textile metal manufacture and so on. The term revolution is suitable in the sense that it was a huge change in the way things functioned. The discoveries of famous individuals such as Galileo and Descartes were brought forward to in the late 18th century and early 19tth century. Advances in agricultural techniques introduced faster methods of crop production which was very convenient in a fast paced world with a growing population. This revolution is the reason for this change in living and is the major factor of modernization.

It resulted in increased productivity of workers and a decrease in prices respectively. It also made goods that were normally only available to the higher classes available to all classes. Life improved for all of mankind to the better providing more jobs easier methods of transport more food and decreased prices of goods. Even though pollution was brought along with the other advancements one can not overlook the huge benefits that overtake these drawbacks. All these new inventions contributed to the industrial revolution.

The industrial revolution gave rise to more jobs, increased wealth of nations accommodated progress in technology and innovation. It made products that were once luxurious normal as well as introduced the middle class which was absent. Instead there were either the poor or the low class, or the high class and the rich.

Machines replaced people which led to faster production of goods since they unlike human beings did not need breaks and could work 24/7.They resulted in mass production of goods perfectly suitable for the fast growing population. It led to the creation of factories which led to an increase in productivity leading to their expansion internationally rather than locally only.
