A culture consists of a group of people who have the same common beliefs and practices that identify the particular place, class, or time in which they belonged to. The nation of Iraq has been through much turmoil and strife. The consensus of this nation and its people varies based on the eye of the beholder. The way that the Iraqi people are viewed ranges from inspirers to some and enemies to others. No matter how you perceive the country of Iraq, you can’t help but be amazed and impressed with its cultural beauty and rich history. Iraq has a long and deep connection with various countries through alliances and combat including the United States of America. The people of Iraq are as unique and diverse as the actually terrain in which they live in, with most of the country falling under Islamic rule. In the paragraphs to come, the intent is to familiarize you the reader on the region of Iraq.

Iraq is located in southwest Asia and borders by the Persian Gulf, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia to the south. Jordan and Syria are to the west. While Turkey is to the north and Iran is to the east. The layout of the nation splits between the southwestern part where water flows from the Euphrates River giving life and a lush and lively appearance. Despite the desert environment, Iraq happens to be a major producer in several crops that include cotton, cereals, and some vegetables.
