Do you remember when you were a kid? Do you remember when you had a hero who you wanted to be just like when you grew up? Do you remember someone who you thought was the greatest person in the world; whether it was a movie star, a famous football player, or a rock star? For as long as I can remember, m y brother Junaid has been my hero.

Growing up without my father was one of the most difficult obstacles of my life. I was born without my father around me he left my mum while she was pregnant with me. At the time, my brother, Junaid, was only sixteen years old when I was born but he had been working from the age of thirteen and had to take on many new responsibilities.

He became the "man of the house" and helped take care of my mom, my sister, my brother and me. Anytime I had trouble with homework, big brother would always be there to lend a helping hand. He was like a father figure. Not having my dad around was hard to deal with, but Junaid has always been there to encourage and guide me.

My brother and I have a relationship much like any other siblings. I look to him for help when I am in trouble and advice when I have a difficult decision to make. I appreciate his opinion, and he is always quick to give one. Although he is sixteen years older than I am, the age difference was never a problem between us. I was forced to mature a little before my time, so he and I usually saw eye to eye on matters, and shared similar interests. We listen to the same kind of music, and enjoy comedy and romantic movies. Not to mention the fact that he and I both have a strong interest in luxury cars. Junaid and I fought and got on each other's nerves just like any other siblings. But, no matter how often we argued with one another, we were always able to work things out.

Junaid has always been a strong influence in my life. He has very high expectations for me, so I do all that I can to make him proud. I remember him always pushing me to be the best I can be. To give all my...
