Abstract

Running a successful business has many factors in it not just the social, legal, and economic environments. Having a successful business means that the business also has to ran successfully.

The management of the said business and how the everyday training, planning are. How the management is doing on their job to do all of these things make or break every company. The company that is mentioned is Burger King.

The chosen company of Burger King is not a corporate Burger King it is a franchise. This does a little to the aspect to the business for the fact that there isn’t really that much that can be changed from corporate to franchise. There are something’s that can be done like the prices of some of the products that are offered or the special deals that we may have. Some of the benefits of working in a franchise compared to the corporate store are actually things like getting equipment faster to even the better pay of employees.

Now this brings us to the environments of the business the legal, social, and economic environments. The legal environment in the franchise is just like any other business that has all of the laws of employment. As it is known that every state has laws for each state and you can even break it down to the county. To keep it simple though the laws of sexual harassment, teen-age hours, and honesty are some of the laws that are followed. The other aspects of the legal environment though are not all that basic though. The reason I say this is from things like lawsuits that even get to the point that there is specific changes to what is offered to the public on the menu.
