A unique first- of -its-kind experience of food, fun and entertainment on wheels is all set to rock Chennaites. South India’s first Double Decker Restaurant on Wheels, ‘Hijackk’, was launched recently in the city.

Conceptualized by Moistclay Entertainment & Media and franchisee partner The Moving Cart, The multi cuisine mobile restaurant will have open to sky upper deck and a fully air-conditioned lower deck, with a  seating capacity of 44. The lower Deck is designed in a luxurious way and provides great ambiance created by variation of lights and soft music.

The Upper Deck will give a fun and sporting experience - first of its kind of dining in the open air, on the move.

For a start HIJACKK would take a ride of 30 km starting from Blue Lagoon to MGM resort and back to Blue Lagoon. The bus will travel at the maximum speed of 40 km per hour and will cover the distance in ninety minutes. There will be two trips everyday staring at 7 pm & 8:45 pm.

Mr Hardik Shah, CEO of ‘The Moving Cart” says, “HIJACKK  is a new concept of food, fun and entertainment for the people of  Chennai. We have taken great care to ensure that the services offered to our guests should be world class and food to be delicious and hygienic so that they go back with a unique experience.”

“We will be serving 7 course fixed meal including mocktails, soups, salads, starters, main courses, and desserts to complete a full meal.  The cost of Veg. meal is Rs. 565 and Non Veg Rs. 765.  The menu will change every fifteen days.” he adds.
