Value Alignment- Wal-Mart
A person can make important decision with his or her life, job, surroundings, shopping stores, etc. from what that person values. Concerning values, this can give someone an idea of why a person will act or re-act a certain way to something. The person’s beliefs and values will sometimes be unknown to the person but others can see it. The combined values of an individual, and an organization must be compatible to produce a successful relationship and work in harmony with each other.
Team B has decided to compare our personal values to Wal-Mart’s value-based plans and actions to see if they are compatible. Because Wal-Mart’s values have been in place for over the past 40 years, the company holds three golden values. These golden values are: 1) showing respect to all individuals, 2) providing exquisite service to customers, and 3) continually strive for excellence. This paper will be able to determine if Wal-Mart can give their customers what he or she wants, needs, and desires all at a reasonable price.

Wal-Mart values are to help our customers save money by offering affordable prices on their products and goods (Wal-Mart, 2006). Sam Walton has established these values to provide the best customer service by offering respect to the customers and providing a better life by having low prices for all consumers. This is one reason Wal-Mart is admired and customers have loyalty toward the store and founder Sam Walton.
