Marikina Christian Integrated School (MCIS) started as Marikina Christian Academy in year 1978. The missions of Evangelical of Blessed are the one who manage the school on the day. They are also the founder of that school because the interviewee said that the priest who the one to organize that school.
At present, the school is housed in a two-storey building with fifty two classrooms, and offices for: Administration and Finance, Rooms for
the Faculty , Pre-School Learning Resource Center, Guidance Center, Student Affairs, 4 Computer Laboratories, (elementary and high school), 3 Science Laboratories, Canteen and Supplies, Clinic (for Medical and Dental Services).
The school’s total number of staff and personnel as is Fifty three (53). Marikina Christian Integrated School is located in CBC Compound Rainbow Street SSS Village Concepcion Dos Marikina City.
The current library system is still focused on using card catalogs that are common on old libraries and this type of library system consumes great amount of time in each transaction. The proponents want to upgrade that system by proposing a system that will implement the use of barcode technology and the processes will be done using LAN-based computers and printers. LAN-based system has the advantage of fast data transfer and fast update of the important information with less time.
