The headstart of February is a big deal to everyone, for it brings with it the very special moment which fills a person’s heart with love and delight. Yes, the Valentine’s Day is but an intriguing issue to all. For those who are in love, they consider it as Hearts Day. But in contrary to those who are single by choice, they call it an ordinary day; a typical one.

As everyone signifies the most awaited day of the month, USEP – CGBE Mintal Campus also celebrated the Valentine’s Day last February 14, 2012 as it was. The event was carried with the theme of Traffic Lights. In accord with the aura, each color had its designated meaning: red for madly taken, yellow for complicated and green for those who are happily single. Along with it was the helpful cooperation of USEP Christian Council, USEP Local Departments and the Inter Fraternity & Sorority Organization (IFSO).

Each Department prepared their booth with all the effort exerted. The BSPA Department initiated the Photo Booth; Match-Making Booth by the BSBA Department; Blind Date Booth lead by the BSCD Department; and the fun-filled Wedding Booth by the BSAE Department. IFSO also managed the Love Knot Booth where they caught many couples being tied together. Further, the celebration could never be more enjoyable without the NOTA Organization as the vocalists serenaded the campus with their stellar performance.

The celebration ended with fun and joy to the students. Truly, Valentine’s Day is not only intended for couples, but it is also for everybody especially in solitude. Yet in the first place no one is forever alone. Thus, that’s what we want to convey. Valentine’s Day is more fun in USEP – Mintal.
