Need for the proposal

The agency, Environmental Protection Agency is a non-governmental organization that is concerned with the protection of the environment to ensure that the all the natural resources are conserved (E.P. A., 2011). The agency’s mission is to protect both the human health and the environment from destruction and degradation. Through its mission the agency aims at ensuring that all components of the environment including the land, water and air are protected from all the environmental risks and ensuring that human health is not taken for granted. The agency ensures all the federal laws governing the use of the environmental resources and protecting human health are enforced in a fair and effective manner (E.P. A., 2011).

This proposal is meant to ensure that the environment is protected from pollution which can cause adverse effects if not controlled. With the available funds the agency can ensure that laws related to environment protection and human health observance. The agency will involve the municipalities in its program to ensure that is successful.

Description of the program

Pollution is a menace to the environment and causes a lot of environmental degradation and very adverse health effects to both human life and the natural life. This program is going to involve the municipalities for it to achieve its intended mission. The agency will allocate funds to each municipality in every state to ensure that the all causes of pollution are checked (E.P. A., 2011). The municipalities will have to undertake very strategic roles to ensure that the environment is protected from pollution.
