Benefits & Effects of Computer Revolution
In the last century, the computer was invented in U.S. Then in the last decade, computer evolved rapidly which caused a huge revolution in lifestyle around the world. This machine has significant positive and negative effects on daily lives such as communication, education and business environment.
Computer usage can have variety of positive effects on a person. The most immediate is relationship and communication. There is a noticeable tendency to interactive and talk online among the youth and children more than normal and traditional ways. However, somehow computer addiction can destroy communication. Seriously, it may cause some problem like the tendency to replace the computer over the relationship (How Computer Addiction Works, 2012 )
. Furthermore, computer usage may lead to time wasting by useless conversation; otherwise, people had better benefit from that time by improving skills or building good relationships. Comparing with lots of effects can benefit the social communication such as family or friends, by using video connection which across long distances with cheapest way. In addition, many people made good and useful friendships as a consequence of using social networks; whereas, sometimes it linked to week relationship with family at home .
Education field has advanced and improved; owing to computer revolution, for example, knowledge sharing caused a noticeable increase in the access to information. Nowadays, students can learn various skills and have exciting learning ; as a result of teaching through computers (cause and effect, technology , 2012 ). E-learning gives the concept of global classroom where any number of student able to interact with each other at any time ( IT revolution in India ,2009) .
