It Takes Time For Love

A story of fate, forgiveness and love

This is a love story of a typical boy and a typical girl. They’re just a typical couple like other couples. And typically, their love story has its ups and downs and time came that they gave up and drifted apart from each other. But when destiny and fate stepped in, everything changed. Remember, this is not a typical love story but this is a TRUE LOVE story.

Their story started when they were in high school. It was 2001. They were studying at University of St. La Salle – Integrated School and this is where they first met. And as the cycle goes, they got acquainted, became friends, drew closer to each other until they became best friends. But as what William Shakespeare said, “A boy and a girl can’t be friends forever.” So just a few weeks later, they instantly fell in love with each other and became a couple. And of course, they did exactly what other couples did: they walk together in the hallways while holding hands, and eat, whisper sweet nothings to, tickle and hug each other. They also fight on petty things like other couples but they solve their problems in just a short while and they’re back to normal. Others say they’re still too young to take their relationship seriously and they will not last forever. They will just suffer when they’ll break up because they’re not mature enough to handle the pain. But despite all the advices and warnings given to them, they did not listen. That’s why they were not able to prepare and deal with what happened to them one day.

They were in the amphitheater, talking and just spending time with each other, when two girls passed by. Based on one of the girl’s movements, it’s pretty obvious that she’s flirting with the boy. When the girls stopped in front of them and winked at him, the boy’s reaction just made the situation worse. He stared at the girl and his gaze followed the girls as they went past them.
