How and Why does Coastal Management vary at Overstrand?

As part of my Geography GCSE, I am required to complete a piece of coursework worth 25% of my final grade. The aim of this is for me to be able to understand the main question of the coursework which is How and Why Coastal Management varies at Overstrand. To be able to complete this coursework, on myself and other geography classes travelled to Norfolk. We stayed in a village called Overstrand for three days where we collected primary and secondary data in forms of photographs, observational notes, field sketches, books etc.

It is a very small village with a population of 952 according to the 2001 census. As Overstrand it a very small village, most retired pensioners move to this area. Over 60% of the population is aged 65 or over. This is smaller than the total number of students at parliament hill school with more than 1200 students. (Map 1) There is one road leading into Overstrand and one road coming out. The land is mostly used to grow crops and agriculture but there is also is a caravan park and a golf course which is used for tourists.

Whilst at Overstrand, we visited and investigated for different sites that were situated on the coast.
