Nowadays, together with the development of economics and society, people life has become more wealthy and sufficient. A busy life with lot of work to do and many things to worry about makes people need more time to take a rest when they have spare time and travel is one of the ways. Also, many convenient means of transport let people go travel more and more and tourism has become one of the largest industries. Among many keys that create the success and the distinction of each hotel and tourism companies, hospitality is said to be the core factor. In this article “Role of hospitality services in Tamil Nadu tourism“, author Renuka mentioned about the importance of hospitality industry toward the economy of India especially the tourism area as well as serious obstacles that this industry has to face up with. Also, the study goes through the hospitality services role in Tamil Nadu specifically and the effect of tourism on the development of India. Thanks to this article, I have a wider and more obvious perspective about the interaction between hospitality and tourism in general. Therefore, in this essay, I will discuss about two questions. The first question is “What is truly hospitality?” and the second one is “How does hospitality industry interact with tourism?”

At first, it is really important to understand that we offer hospitality not just because of the money. Actually, hospitality is more than just about the profits. Although money is necessary and it is an important tool which can bring us to wherever we want, it not the main purpose of hospitality. As the basic meaning, hospitality is the way that a person brings the goodness a courtesy to other people in necessary situation.
